Remove deleted Gravatar Image!!!!

  I deleted a gravatar profile picture recently but it still appears on google search results.

  This is a gravatar link (https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/a9e1b5e075acc2d5063f06b9ad59088a?s=320) and I want the image to be deleted from google search permanently. I have tried deleting myself but it appears it is purely from gravatar link and not my computer’s search history.

  Hi there,

  When I visit the 2 links that you posted, I see the default Gravatar Logo. Is that your current Gravatar image?

  It can take time for Google to refresh its cache. You may have to wait for it to crawl your page again before it removes the old image from its index.

  This is what Google has to say about removing images from their search results:

  After an image is removed from a website, it may still appear in search results for a little while.

  To remove these images from search results, follow these steps:

  1. Search on images.google.com for the image you want to find.
  2. Select the image link by right clicking on the image thumbnail and choosing Copy link address.
     Note: Different browsers may have different names for copying link location.
  3. Go to the Remove outdated content page.
  4. In the “Enter URL of outdated content” box, paste the URL.
  5. Click Request removal.
     • If you see the message “We think the image or web page you’re trying to remove hasn’t been removed by the site owner,” follow the steps on the screen to give us more information.
     • If you see the message “This content is gone,” click Request removal.
