Remove Domain Expired Notification?
-
My domain at sarahamycarson.wordpress.com expired several months ago, but the message still appears on my site. I do not wish to purchase the domain or referral from WordPress but would like to still use my free page. Can the message be removed?

I just want to make sure you understand that when domain mapping is removed all the content has to be indexed by search engines again under the underlying .wordpress.com URL. That takes months. Meanwhile every link to the content under the domain URLs will produce a 404 page not found error in the SERPs (search engine page results) and everywhere the domain URLs appear on the internet.
