Remove domain from wordpress nameservers
-
I have cancelled my domain mapping for my domain (afrikafreedomclimbers.org) two days ago, and I have moved to another hosting solutions. However, my domain is still being resolved from WordPress’s namservers, but I can’t seem to change from my admin section any more. How can I remove the domain from the wordpress nameservers?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your domain (afrikafreedomclimbers.org) is using WordPress.com nameservers, which is something set at the place where the domain is registered. After looking up your domain information (using a “whois” service), I found it was registered through Tucows. I used their info tool to determine the registrar of your domain is Afrihost (email: (email visible only to moderators and staff), phone number: 27116127200).
Log into the account at Afrihost to update the nameservers, replacing WordPress.com with the information provided by the new hosting solution.

Thanks for the reply. At afrihost the nameserver records are pointing to their nameservers, which is what we want. The problem is that at some point WordPress nameservers were used and now I can’t seem to change that anywhere. I can’t change it at afrihost.

I see the nameservers have changed since I viewed them yesterday. Normally the nameservers only list one host, but yours appears to have three:
Name Server: NS.DNS1.CO.ZA
Name Server: NS.DNS2.CO.ZA
Name Server: NS.OTHERDNS.NET
Name Server: NS.OTHERDNS.COM
Name Server: NS3.WORDPRESS.COMI suggest that the unnecessary ones be removed.
