Remove domain from WOrdPress nameservers

  Hello
  We had a domain associated with a wordpress.com site. We have since moved the site to a server and wordpress.org. The domain is no longer associated with our wordpress.com account.However, WordPress sitll does DNS through ns1/2/3.wordpress.com.

  My questions:

  1. How can I see (and modify) DNS records when the domain is not listed in my acount?
  2. How can get ns*.wordpress.com to stop thinking themselves authoritative for my domain?

  This depends on the domain registrar. If the registrar has changed (you need to check on and verify this), then you will need to manage DNS through the current registrar. Since you mentioned you would like to discuss the domain privately, I have sent you an email.

  Changing DNS takes time, some advise up to 72 hours. This is because once you make the change, ISPs all over the world will pick up that change at different intervals.

  To answer your question more directly, to get ns*.wordpress.com to stop thinking themselves authoritative for my domain you just need to update the Name Server settings for the domain through your current registrar.
