remove domain mapping

  Here again..

  My domain http://www.lilsisstar.com is mapped onto a wordpress.com blog.

  Unfortunately, and with seriously great regret, I would like to transfer to another website.

  My questions:
  How do I remove domain mapping?

  I removed my blog on lilsisstar.wordpress.com

  How do I remove domain mapping?

  The domain mapping has already been removed from your WordPress.com account, but the name servers for the domain is still pointing to WordPress.com. You can see the WHOIS information here:

  http://whois.domaintools.com/lilsisstar.com

  Once you change your name servers to point to your new host and the DNS change propagates (it can take between 24—72 hours), you won’t see the “domain mapping upgrade” error.

  Sorry for that.
  @thimethief I thought maybe it was easier when I logged in with my other account name where my domain is linked to.

  So my problem is solved when I deleted my blog? And than I have to wait 24-72 hours?

  No. You’ll need to change your name servers at your domain registrar as well.
