Remove domain mapping
-
Our site at http://smdtc.wordpress.com has had the domain http://smdtc.com mapped to it, although it has never actually been used that way. We have the domain smdtc.com registered with a different provider. As we are now getting an error message page on the smdtc.wordpress.com page, we would like to remove this domain mapping. The problem is we cannot find a way to remove/cancel it (no links, buttons, etc. in the “Domain Settings” or “DNS Records” sections). Can you please help?

@joinjigna, I can see you’ve only recently added mapping, but the domain is pointed to Godaddy.
If you want to make your domain work here, use these steps:
https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/12317/setting-custom-nameservers-for-domains-registered-with-uswith these name servers:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comOnce you save those changes, wait 4-6 hours for them to take effect. Or, if you’ve changed your mind and do not want domain mapping any more, you can remove and refund it here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contactIn the meantime, I’ve made your .wordpress.com address primary. If you’d like to keep the domain, please make it primary here once you’ve updated your settings:
