Remove domain mapping

  Hello, I have the same problem / request as this thread.

  Please remove my domain http://blackandnoel.com from my wordpress account.

  I will need the domain available for a new server that I’ve setup on a different host.

  The blog I need help with is blackandnoeldotcom.wordpress.com

  Hi there!

  I’ve been through the same situation, and finally after being able to cancel my mapping subscription and going back to the domain settings, I was able to remove the mapped domain from my account. but still, when I try to access the wordpress.org admin for my domain, I am being redirected to this wordpress.com page that says:

  “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.”

  Since my domain 100nudeshoots.com is no longer linked to my wordpress.com account, why is wordpress.com still routing access to my now self-hosted site?

  how do i remove my domain mapping i have a site that i am half way through setting up. i registered a new domain with go daddy and started a new site and mapped my domain with wp.
  i now want to use my new domain with go daddy for my original wp site how do i do this?

  Hi there,

  It appears that the message you were referring to is now gone (it sometimes takes a few days for the domain to propagate), but now you’re receiving a privacy error. It looks like you may need to set up a SSL certificate for your self-hosted blog.

  Hi, I’m having a similar problem, some how another domain has been mapped by mistake and we would like to remove it from the background. How would we go about doing this.

  The secondary domain that has been mapped is Inbrief.assembly.wales. I want to move this and keep the current domain https://assemblyinbrief.wordpress.com

  Hi there, I accidentally mapped the domain bigdlockandkey.wordpress.com to http://www.bigdlockandkey.com and I need to have it removed! I thought I was gaining access to the domain by doing this but I learned the hard way….can you please help out?
