Remove domain mapping for karamcnair.com please

  • Unknown's avatar

Hi there – I’m moving to a different platform for my site but according to documentation I can’t remove the WordPress.com mapping myself.

    Please remove it for me.

    Thanks!

Apparently I should tag this with ‘modlook’ so I shall.

  • Hi there,

I’ve removed your expired mapping subscription for you.

    Hi Kokkieh,

Could you please help me with my WordPress site? I started blogging on WordPress but then I bought a domain/webhosting through one.com, changed the nameservers to wordpress (with help of one.com) and my site was perfect. Now I’m back to a blog version and I can’t see the extended admin menu anymore where I could install themes and plugins. I need to have this extended dashboard back. I understand that I have lost all my content now (however I can still see it in myphp in my one.com dashboard) but I just want to start again from the moment I bought the mapping from wordpress and my dashboard automatically changed to an extended one (I never installed .org). Thank you, I’ve been contacting people everywhere and no one understands
    me or can help me.

    Hi Kokkieh.
On Jan-15 I upgraded my domain. Previously it was the WordPress free blog. The renewal reminder came up. And since I wanted to change the registered domain whilst it cannot so I registered a new one & made it as a primary blog. I thought it solved my problems. But when I go to the 2nd registered domain, the page shows expiration notification & that I/visitor can still access the blog through WordPress free domain (’cause it is included with the site).

What should I do to – like – fully activated the primary registered domain (new one)? And if I keep ignoring the renewal notification, does it mean I will lose all my posts? The new registered domain has passed its 48 hours cancellation time frame.

    Thank you.

In future, please start your own thread if you need help as it makes things extremely difficult to try and help multiple users with different issues in the same thread.

At the moment our domain registrar is offline so it is not possible for me access any information on your domain, but I can tell you you won’t lose any of your posts.

If you are completely sure you don’t want the expired domain any more, please let me know and I can cancel it once our registrar is back online. That will make the notification overlay go away.

But please confirm that you are absolutely sure you don’t want that domain any more, as once I cancel it, there’s no way to get it back again and we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to register it again later.

    Hi Kokkieh,
Apology for using existing thread to ask different issue.

And yes, I’m sure ~ I don’t want to use the expired domain anymore. Appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

  • Okay, I have cancelled the expired domain for you. If you still see the Expired Domain warning, please clear your browser cache and that should go away.

The Expired Domain warning has completely gone.

Thank God & thank you kokkieh.

  • You are very welcome :)
