Remove domain/redirect loop error

I started with bataviasbest.com, and then got .org and wanted to set it up so .com redirected to the new .org (which is run through the self-hosted WordPress). It won’t work though…and now both sites are down. It says there is a redirect loop error.

I see that you purchased both domain mapping for bataviasbest.org and a Site Redirect to bataviasbest.org — that would cause a redirect loop.
Since you cancelled your domain mapping upgrade, the site redirect works as expected. Visitors who go to bataviasbest.com are redirected to the correct site here: http://www.bataviasbest.org/
When you visit a domain, your computer saves information about that domain and the site it’s linked to, so you may still see that redirect loop error even though other people don’t. If you’d like, you can try flushing your computer’s DNS cache to force your computer to update sooner. Otherwise, you can wait a day or two and your computer should refresh itself so you can access your site normally.

Thanks a lot for your help. Is there anything else that I need to do in terms of DNS settings or anything? Do I need to change anything on Bluehost where the redirect site is hosted?

Nope, you don’t need to do anything else — it’s all set up correctly and just needs a couple days for all of the domain changes to take effect everywhere. It’s normal for changes like this to take a couple days to settle down. If you continue to have trouble with it after a few days, please let me know and I can look into it again. :)
