remove dots below slide show on home page

  Hi —
  I had my site rebuilt by a WordPress tech expert. I now want to remove the ‘dots’ under the slide show on my home page, but I have no clue how to edit that page. When I open the page to edit, I see nothing except some code for my Facebook link. Same as when I look at the ‘code view.’
