Remove Duplicate Page From Top
-
About a month ago I posted a question here (I wish I could searcg for it by my ID). I wanted to add a static/front page and was referred to a support article that showed me how to do that.
As explained in the article there were two statc pages visible with the same material after I followed the instructions. In my case, it was “Home” and “LHS Class of 1963”.
In the support article, there were also instructions on how to hide the redundant page. However, it seems to be referring to the sidebar list. I want to remove it from the top display. Specifically, I want to remove “Home” from the top of the page and keep only LHS Class of 1963..
Can I do this? What did I miss?
TIA
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Search the support pages for “custom menu” and then create one on your site. You can then pick which pages and categories appear in your main navigation and how they are ordered.

Hello there,
(1) add a static/front page > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
(2) custom menu > http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Hope these help. :)
