remove edit link below featured content

  on my homepage, i have a featured content link. below the featured content link is the word ‘edit’ and it is also a link to an editing page. how do i remove the edit link? it looks like any one who views my page has access to the edit link.

  HI there,
  As you are logged into your WordPress account it gives you an option to Edit your content, when another user views your website it just shows as the content, no Edit option, you an try and check it on your side by logging out and viewing your website, or on another browser where you are not logged in the WordPress.com account.
