remove email address from email post changes
-
Hello,
Under the “Email Post Changes” in Settings on my blog, I have an additional email address listed to receive email ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). I’d like to remove this, but if I blank it out and save change, it just comes back. I can modify it, but I just can change it to nothing. Can you take a look? It seems like there’s probably a bug here, so I’ll try to check out the code later (assuming this page is in the open source wordpress), and see if I can reproduce it.-Al
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Al,
It looks like this box just automatically duplicates the email address of the admin on the blog. Currently, it’s just duplicating your email address. That’s likely why it is unable to be removed (because you are forced to have an admin email address). Are you receiving two emails for each post change?

I am receiving two emails, but just for comments, and this was the only place I could find reference to my gmail address (although I don’t think it’s related to the comment emails). I since replaced it with my main address, but am still getting duplicates. The goal is to get rid of emails to my gmail address, but I can’t find reference to it anywhere in my account settings or in the blog settings.

Hey Al,
If I understand correctly, the real issue is that you’re receiving duplicate emails for comment notifications – one to your current address on file and one to a previous Gmail address. You would only like to receive one (to your current address on file). Is that correct?

Hi Al,
This should be resolved now. Can you let me know if you continue to receive emails at your previous Gmail address?
