Remove email from deleted account

I ended up in a weird situation. Not sure how the mix-up happened, but in short, I have two emails, A and B. A is now used for gravatar and wordpress, and I’m trying to add back email B, which got deleted from gravatar when I removed an unused account. I can’t add email B anymore because I’m told it’s still in use (by the deleted account). I can’t recover the deleted account either.

Oh and additionally, if I try logging in to gravatar with email B I’m told that an email link for that account cannot be generated.

The B email address must probably still be associated with the deleted WordPress.com account.
Once a WordPress.com account is deleted, its data is kept stored for 30 days in case users would like to revert this action.
You’ll need to wait 30 days (since the account deletion) until our system purges that account and all the data associated with it in order to reuse B email address with another WordPress.com account.There are different levels of support depending on your plan. A couple of suggestions:
- the support/plan makes total sense, may I suggest making that more prominent in the dashboard? (Dashboard -> Help Center (top right) -> Still Need Help button)
- would be nice to have a “delete account immediately” (or at least in next 3 days or so) option
