Remove excess panels – Pique theme
-
I am putting together a 1-page site for a client & they only want the menu up. When I add menu images to the first of the 4 given sample panels of the Pique theme, they duplicate themselves onto the subsequent panels. I have already attempted to delete the extra pages in the settings (don’t need blog, contact us sections, etc.), but they still show up & replicate the first panel in their given colored sections.
Any idea as to how to remove them without upgrading?
Info. about the theme mentions that you “can” have these extra panels, but I just want them turned off &/or eliminated.
Alternatively, any suggestions for a 1-page theme that is truly just 1-page?
Thank you for your time & expertise!

Hi there,
If you navigate to the Theme Options panel of the WordPress.com Customizer and then head to either Panel 1 or Panel 2, you can choose the top “Select” option from the Panel Content dropdown menus to un-assign pages from those panels. The image of your menu will then only appear at the very top of your site.
I also wanted to note that Pique is tagged as a “one page” theme due to the way the content for multiple pages can be viewed by scrolling down its front page.
If you only wish to have one page and its content set as your front page then that’s possible with the vast majority of our themes by following the guidance here:
Let me know if that helps out or if extra questions come up.

Thank you ever so much!
I understand the 1-page scrolling vs. multi-page navigation. The client literally only wanted a menu put up so the extra panels were getting frustrating.
Much obliged for your assistance!
