Remove Featured Image from top of page

  I’m trying to remove the featured image from the top of pages like this:
  https://kaijubigbattel.wordpress.com/american-beetle/

  But I want to keep the featured image for things like “Latest Post” in pages like this: https://kaijubigbattel.wordpress.com/hello-kaiju/

  There is a box in Appearance–> Customize–> Content Options that says “Show the featured image on pages. Check to display a featured image at the top of your pages when they have one.”

  The box is unchecked, but there are still Featured Images at the top of the page.

  Any thoughts?

  Hi,

  The first URL you provided is redirected to the URL https://kaijubigbattel.wordpress.com/1996/10/30/american-beetle/, which is a post, not a page. The setting at Content Options doesn’t apply to posts, and there is no universal setting in Customize on the Hever theme regarding the display of featured images on posts.

  Hiding featured images from posts on Hever while still displaying them on the blog and archives pages would, I think, require CSS customization. However, I might have missed something so I’ll call for staff attention to the topic. Staff will respond here.

  Hello there,

  Musicdoc1 is correct.

  We can help with some CSS to hide that on pages, but the site would need to be on the premium plan or higher in order to run that.

  Okay, so if I get a Premium plan, I can use CSS to hide the featured images at the top of a page. That’s good to know. I plan on buying a plan soon anyway. Thank you.
