Remove follower

  I thought I had set up my blog as private, but apparently not (the setting is updated to private now). I received a notification that I have a follower. I would like to remove this follower because it is not someone I know personally. How do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi There,
  If you go to My Sites – People – Followers, you should see the person there and a remove to the right of their name. You can remove them that way.

  Thank you jenlynnemc for the information! I followed those steps and received an error which read “There was an error retrieving followers.”…so no followers are showing up in that field.

  I also found today that I received an error when I tried to change my settings from public to private (working on my laptop). I had made the change immediately when I received the notification of a new follower while using my iPad. But when I went to work on my laptop, the setting did not appear correct (oddly, nothing was selected) so I tried to update it to ensure it was indeed set to “private.” The error I received when I tried to save the update read – “There was a problem saving your changes. Please try again.” Unfortunately, I seem to be getting multiple errors on the site, including a new one which says “you are not authorized to manage settings for this site”…any help is greatly appreciated!
