Remove followers from private blog (previously public)

  I have recently changed by blog from public to private (followers by invite only) and now want to remove those that were previously following me.

  Is it possible to do this? I have looked through all the site settings to no avail.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Folks, these are two different questions:

  @writewriteordie-you say in your forum thread that your site has always been marked as Private and I have answered you there https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-do-i-remove-followers-from-my-private-blog

  @lilioubliette-the post that I wrote that timethief so graciously linked to in the forum thread that writewriteordie started answers your question.

  When you move from a Public site to marking your site Private this breaks the connection to all your previous followers. But regardless, staff have indicated in the past that they are willing to remove followers from Private sites for users’ peace of mind, so yes, contacting Staff is the way to go.
