Remove Full Screen Carousel Title

    I need to remove the titles displaying underneath the pictures in the full screen image gallery carousel by jetpack. I found this CSS:

    .jp-carousel-info h2 {
    display:none !important;
    }

    But I don’t know where to put it. Is there a way I can just add this to the existing CSS file for the carousel within wordpress ? I do not want to create external files.

    If you know this is the right code I am looking for and know where it goes please help me!

    I feel like removing the titles should be easier and I really don’t know what it is so complicated.

    Here I want to remove the “Blogger Natasha Oakley” title below the image.

    Thank you!

    There is an easier way! You can edit image titles and meta data for each image through the media library. Go to Media > Library in the dashboard, click edit for the image you want to change, and update the title, caption and description—note that the Carousel feature displays all three.

    I also checked the link you provided:

    I found that jrandonbames.com it is a site setup using WordPress, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. This forum is for WordPress.com support, however, I can tell you how to get started and point you to the right best place to post questions.

    If you are using the carousel feature, then you have probably installed the Jetpack plugin. The best place to ask for help with Jetpack features is at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack or http://jetpack.me/support/contact-form/

    If you have theme-specific questions, then asking for help through the theme author is the best route. It looks like http://jrandonbames.com/ is currently using the Rustik theme by http://wesmashed.it/ but I can’t tell if that theme author offers support. If they don’t you can also ask for help in the volunteer-based forums at http://wordpress.org/support/

    If you have Jetpack Custom CSS enabled on a WordPress.org setup, then a safe way to add CSS is by going to Appearance > Edit CSS in your WordPress.org blog’s dashboard and using the CSS editor there.

    I don’t think you need to use CSS unless you want to hide existing titles for all of your media library images all at once though.

    Hopefully this helps a little! Please post at one of the WordPress.org links above if you need further help with jrandonbames.com.
