Remove google fonts

  I am based in China therefore google fonts makes my site run really slowly. Is it possible to remove google fonts from free wordpress? I know that it is possibly using wordpress.org software but ideally, I would like to keep my site on wordpress.com

  There is no way to turn off or change the fonts you get with the free plan.

  With the paid Custom Design upgrade, you get Typekit fonts.
