Remove header from blog posts

  Hi there, I’m trying to remove the header from blog posts but can’t seem to figure it out. I installed jetpack and posted the following code in the edit CSS tab:
  .single .header-image {
  display: none;
  }

  unfortunately this is not working and I can’t figure out why. Can you please help?
