Remove header image
-
Hello,
I am looking to change the header image on different pages (so that it is different from the header image that displays on the home page). Also I would like to find out how to remove the title from other pages as well. I’m not sure what the class ID of the title or header elements are but the theme creator directed me here. The blog in question is https://lucialin.com/
We would like to be able to read the name Lucia Lin over the image on the front page of the site. On all the other pages, we would like to just display different images in that area.
Alternatively, it may just be easier if I could have code that will simply hide that header image and title from every page but the front page. If that would be possible, that would be greatly helpful!
Thank you!

Hi there,
Your current theme does not have the ability to set a per-page header image, but we do offer several themes that do: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/featured-image-header
You are welcome to switch to one of those themes, which will allow you to set a “featured image” on a per-page basis, and that image will be used as the header image for that page only.
Also because you are setting up a new WordPress.com site, this guide may be helpful: https://wordpress.com/learn/
It is written with beginners in mind, and covers all the essentials. Hope this helps!
