Remove header menus OR Themes with no header menu?
-
I’d like to not have the menus at the top of our WordPress.com site that list either pages or categories. Is there a way to not have them?
I guess more specifically is there a list of themes that do not have the header menu or give the ability to turn it off?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
As far as I know there is no list available of the themes that do NOT have the custom image header option. Removal of a header from any theme that has one is possible only if you purchase the CSS editing upgrade and do the work to remove it.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/editing-css/There are two ways you can use to find themes you may be interested in.
> Dashboard Theme Search Utility Feature Filters
You can use the search utility and Feature Filters in your Dashboard > Appearance > Browse Themes > Feature Filters to locate themes of interest to you ie. themes without the custom image header option (A-Z, Popular, Features)
Each theme has a thumbshot and a features summary description. You can browse and when you find one of interest you can click “Preview”. When you are ready to make your selection you can click “Activate”.
The other way is by applying the subtraction principle … Here is the list of themes that do have the custom image header option. Any themes that are not found on this list do not have the custom image header option. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/custom-header-image/
Hope this helps. :)
