Remove Home Page?

    Wow, I’m new to this.
    I am trying to remove the Home Page and replace it with another page, but it doesn’t show up in the Pages in the Dashboard.
    I went to edit the header.php under Templates, but I don’t understand the code. I must have looked up 5 different solutions to editing the header.php code to remove the Home Page, but none of them had the code I was looking for.
    If I posted in the wrong place, let me know!
