Remove homepage Widget area?

  hey,

  I would like to remove the “Homepage Widget Area”. its currently a box that says “This is the home page widget area. You can use this space to add an introductory message to your blog with a Text Widget or add any other widget here.”
  I would like to remove it entirely.

  You need the CSS upgrade and CSS editing experience to do that.

  You can make it blank by adding a blank text widget to that “homepage” sidebar.

  I was just unfamiliar with the concept of a Widget. So i figured i didn’t need it- now I think its just great!
