Remove hover h1 entry title text on post's images

  Hello Everyone,

  I’m trying without success to remove the white box that is shown when the cursor is on the post image. This white box contains the respective post title (h1.entry-title) and i would like to know how to get rid of it, using CCS editor.

  Could you provide the URL of the site in question, I can’t see anything like you describe at the site linked to your name here in the forum.

  I’m still not seeing anything, can you provide a screenshot of how it appears to you. It might also be helpful if you try to view the page in other browsers or from a different computer and see if you get the same results. If it’s not different then try turning off any browser add-ons you might have enabled and see if that makes a difference.

  I just tested with internet explorer and chrome: in both cases i get the same result: a white text box in the middle of the image.

  That’s expected browser behaviour. Images with title attributes show a tooltip but it’s not part of the CSS. Check some other images and you’ll find it happens almost everywhere (titles are pretty common for images).

  I don’t think it’s possible, it’s a part of how most browsers works. Is there a reason you want to get rid of it? Did you set a title when you included the image in your post or when you uploaded it to your media gallery?

  Yeah, for presentation reasons, i want to see the full image without this white box.

  I checked the the picture has no title. I have only the title of the post

  Now that i think clearly, i didn’t have this white box before (i recently changed theme), so i’m pretty sure the web browser is not responsible for this issue.

  The thing is that i changed theme, but i also increased the amount of code in the CSS editor, so it might be one of these two things (or even both).

  It’s the last issue i need to solve, because the rest of the website is perfect to start my operation.
