Hi,
Please submit your questions regarding the Promenade theme to the Promenade Premium Theme support forum. -
The three WordPress icons are displayed because the links behind those icons are all pointing to various pages on your blog: https://joelkarlssonguitar.wordpress.com/om
https://joelkarlssonguitar.wordpress.com/media
https://joelkarlssonguitar.wordpress.com/kontaktIf you wish other icons, please change the links to respective profiles.
If you add the link to your twitter profile, twitter icon will be automatically displayed. Ditto with other profiles like Facebook etc.

Thanks for your answer chaitanyamsv.
Unfortunately I can’t make it happen. Where can I find those links? -
Hi skogsjoel
I got this from Promenade official page:
Just below the the footer widgets is a Social links menu, which can be added via Appearance → Menu. Social icons are automatically displayed by simply providing the relative URL. For example, a link like http://twitter.com/audiotheme will display a Twitter icon.
Since it is a paid Theme, I can’t test it for you, so good luck!
hope that helps

Pedger> I get a small icon at the left side of page which is not in the place that i want it. I can´t figure it out. Thanks anyway

Hi
Can you be more specific? What is this icon that you don’t want? Maybe I can help you with that
cheers
-
Ok. I don’t want the three wordpress icons in the middle, down in the footer. Somehow they seem to be connected to my menu pages, when I click on them I am transferred to my pages. Instead I want my social media icons there, just like the basic promenade site shows.

Ok. As I stated on a post before (that one with official Promenade page info), these icons are set using Menus.
If you go to Appearance > Menus, you can see that there is 2 menu locations on a tab called “Menu Locations” (Primary Menu and Social Links Menu).
Now you have 2 options:
1. Remove this menu. Simply leave the Social Links Menu on –select a menu–. It should disappear.
2. Set up this menu. You can use the info on Custom Menus Support Page and set links on the Social Links Menu to your profiles on social networks. The promenade theme will automatically set the icons for Twitter, Facebook etc.
If you need more help on Menu editing, fell free to ask!
Cheers

thank you so much! it worked fine. How can I get the linked page to open in a new window?
-
You can set up to open the link in a new page or tab using Link Target setting.
Check more about Link Targets in the Advanced Menu Settings support guide.

You are welcome!
@chaitannyamsv
Thank you for “the excellent help” regarding my support, and I have to say all that I have left was the link you posted!
Cheers.
