Remove Icons

Just beneeth site title and tagline, there is suddenly some WordPress Icons and another icon displaying. I had removed them but suddenly they are back, after I changed the picture. Now I can’t figure out how to remove them again. Thanks!

Hi majaisdal!
Your theme, Independent Publisher, supports a Social Menu, that is what those icons are. I suspect that you enabled them when you created your current menu.
Can you go to Customizer > Menus and click on your Menu that you created. Just under Menu Items there is a section called Menu Locations, make sure that ‘Social Menu’ is not selected there or on any of your other menus if you have more than one.
