Remove image tags in featured slider (Oxygen theme)
-
Hi,
Ihave a problem with the images in the featured slider. On mouse hover over the small thumbnails there is a meta (the image name) popping up. I preffer this not to happen or in best case scenario – to replace the image name tag with the post name that image is linked to.
I have a CSS upgrade and have modified my page vastly, but cannot find that little thing and it’s really annoying. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’ve searched but somehow missed this one. Anyway it’s just a workaround which would do the trick for the moment, but I prefer a CSS solution (that’s why I’ve posted my question in the CSS forum).
Thanks for this one, I’ll apply it for now, but would be happy if someone gives a more elegant solution. -

For reference, I think you’re talking about the title attribute text for the thumbnails in the slider, which look like this when you hover over them: http://f.cl.ly/items/0M1l2c2u0i1j3V1v1M3c/Screen%20Shot%202012-08-30%20at%209.45.16%20AM.png
You can edit those by adjusting the title field for the image in the media library. You can make them match the article title that way if you’d like.

Thank you,
that’s the same solution Jennifer proposed. It does the trick for now, but it limits the use of stock images for different topics. Not a big deal anyway, I can always upload them with different names :)
