  Can someone please provide an answer on how to remove incoming links from your comments page?

  Why would you want to? I thought incoming links for one’s blog was a good thing.

  For the first time today, I saw that I had an incoming link. I am very uncomfortable with this, as I am very familiar with this blogger. I would like the link removed.

  I received an Incoming Link from

  “Ignorance Is Futile!” linked here saying, “The net-centric Global Information Grid is the fut …”

  this link was automatically generated … but articles have nothing to do with each other. I would like to have the incoming link removed.

  You can’t. That’s how the internet works. You publish stuff; it’s publicly available; other people read it; if they want to, they link to it.

  If you find that someone has said something libellous about you, you are entitled to sue them.
  If you find that someone has stolen your content, you are entitled to take steps about that.

  Otherwise, there is nothing you can do. Just ignore it.

  First off there is NO way you or wordpress can control who links to your blog because the link was generated by a blog outside of your control. The incoming links section simply displays WHO has linked to your blog. Hiding the display of a certain incoming link is not going to remove the link, it would simply hide it from your view… keep you in the dark in other words.

  Personally, I like knowing who has linked to my blog as it has allowed me to have many splogs shut down that were illegally copying and using my content. I’ve had some sites that I would rather not have linking to my blog, but that is simply the reality of the internet – either that or set your blog to private and invite only the visitors you approve of to view your blog. Be aware though that any incoming links to your blog that were put in place before you set your blog to private would still be there although they would not lead to your blog, but to a login page.

  You can always try contacting the blog owner and ask them to remove the link, BUT be aware that depending on who that other person is, the results might actually end up being the exact opposite of what you wanted.
