Remove "Leave a reply"

  I have tried various methods to remove the ‘Leave a reply’ line from my hole page, but it’s still there. Please, how do I remove it?
  The whole webpage is to be without replies or commentaries.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you want to disable comments on all pages, please go to Pages > All pages in your Dashboard. Then select all pages by checking the box left of “Title”. Then, go to the drop down menu labeled “Bulk Actions” and select “Edit”. Click on “Apply”, and you will see another dropdown menu next to “Comments”. Select “Do Not Allow”, and click “Update”.

  This should disable Comments on all the pages you checked off.

  Thank you for your quick reply. I have done exactly as you told me to, but still there is a “Leave a reply” option on the site’s main page. Is there another way to disable this?

  That’s because it is a post. Do the same thing that you did to Pages > All Pages, but to Posts > All Posts in your Dashboard.

  Thank you – it worked!

  But now I can see the is a line in the bottom stating category and date of publication too.

  Can you help me out on how to disable this too?

  I am using the Twenty Twelve theme.

  Sure! You can do this if you edit CSS. Please go to Appearance > Customize > CSS in your Dashboard and add this:

  footer.entry-meta {
  	display: none;
  }

  That should do it!
