Remove Leave a Reply Hatch Theme

  I am trying to remove Leave a reply at the bottom of the screen. I have tried everything on every forum except as far as removing the comments on the screen options, i have unchecked allow comments, etc. The only thing I have not tried is to adjust the css. I cannot figure out how to adjust the css, I am using the hatch theme.

  Please help!

  I am sorry. That sounds confusing. I have already:
  1. unchecked allow comments
  2.adjusted the screen options to not include comments.

  Leave a reply is still on the bottom of my pages

  Hello there,

  This is not theme dependent and it’s not a CSS editing solution.

  All WordPress blogs by default have comments open on all Pages and Posts. You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion

  Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.

  You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

  Any existing posts or pages will need to have comments disabled manually via editing. You can use the bulk edit feature in the all posts and all pages screen to make that quicker.

  Note: By default, new blogs on WordPress.com will have the Discussion hidden.   Thank you for your help! I figured it out. My Discussion options were not visible on the page editor, I had to select “Screen Options”, select “Discussion” and from there I was able to view the discussion options and deselect “Allow comments”
