  This is driving me mad – on the site

  I do not want it there.. or on any PAGE.

  Hours later… I still cannot remove it…

  It it costs me another upgrade I will happily do so just so I can have this how I want it! Kind thanks anthony

  No upgrades necessary. :)

  The tricky thing here is that there are two places to disable comments.

  In your Discussion settings, you can set the default for whether or not new pages and posts should have comments enabled. Visit those settings and uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” then save changes. This doesn’t affect your current posts and pages — only your future ones.

  To remove the comment option from your current posts and pages, we’ll need disable them by editing. Here’s how to disable comments from all your pages at once:

  1. Visit your Pages options here
  2. Bulk edit all the pages
  3. In the Comments dropdown, choose “Do Not Allow” (Example) then click Update

  This disables comments from all your current pages. You can do the same thing for your Posts.
