Remove linked blog from wordpress.com dashboard
-
Hello,
I had linked 3 Jetpack enabled sites to my wordpress.com account out of which I deleted one “blognow.in” from my self hosting server but its entry is still showing up in the wordpress.com account dashboard. I want to remove that entry but I am unable to do so. I know how to disconnect jetpack enabled site when site is up and running but in this case I am not having my site up and running.
Can you please remove the entry of “blognow.in” from my wordpress.com dashboard?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi pratikakkawar,

I’ve disconnected blognow.in from your WordPress.com account. Please try clearing your browser cache using these steps:
Let me know if the site still appears in your account.
Thanks!

Hi Gemma,
I cleared the cache but still able to see the entry under my blogs tab at below page in my account
https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
Can you please check again and do needful?

Hi pratikakkawar,

Thanks for trying that. You mentioned your site is not up and running, are you able to login and deactivate the Jetpack from Plugins > Installed Plugins? Or is the site completely unavailable?
I’ve disconnected blognow.in from this end and I’m no longer seeing any active Jetpack connections. If you enter the URL into Jetpack Debug, you’ll see a message that says “Not Connected”.
If the problem remains, please get in touch with Jetpack support on this page:
They may be able to give you some more information about why you are still seeing this connection.
Thanks!

Hi Gemma,
I guess the entry doesn’t go away until you disconnect the connection safely so I reinstalled wordpress and Jetpack both on same domain and disconnected it safely. Thank you for the support.
Have a nice day. :)
