  As much as I love working with WordPress I would like to remove the small WordPress (Blog at WordPress.com.) as and also the theme name (The Photographer Theme.) on the bottom of my site, not to mention the weird little smiley face… Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The smiley on your blog is an indicator that your stats are being recorded and it iss so tiny no visitors are likely to notice it http://en.support.wordpress.com/smiley-on-your-blog/

  Removing footer credit links creates the false impression that you created the theme and that you host your own blog, when that’s clearly not the case at all. It’s a ToS violation to remove the footer credit links.

  Though changing the footer text is not allowed, it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Custom Design upgrade. In it you can incude styling credit if you have done any styling and/or a copyright.

  Otherwise if all you want to include is a copyright many bloggers do that by including a copyright notice in a text widget.
