remove links from posts page
-
Hi,
I have made a posts page called Other Stuff on my wordprees.com site and I don’t want to show the links in a sidebar on there. My Home page is a static one. The links don’t show on any of the other pagesCan someone help with this, or is it not possible to achieve?
Cheers
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Blog posts by definition go on the blog. You only have one blog page at WordPress.com, and all your posts will go there. What you can do is have two separate blogs, or as many as you like.

Thanks for your reply raincoaster, looks like I’ll either just have to have links on there, or not make posts to it and just use the page for putting stuff in as a normal page.
Cheers

The sidebar can be removed with CSS but you would have to purchase the custom design upgrade to do it.

To turn “Other Stuff” into your posts page, you need to set it as your posts page in Settings>Reading. If you use the theme Mystique, you can select the no-sidebar template for your posts page (Appearance > Theme Options) and a sidebar template for your static pages (Page editor > Page Attributes).

Thank you thesacredpath, I may consider that upgrade later on.
Thanks raincoaster, I have read that before, but after re-reading it, I realized I had missed a few of the main points.
I think I’ll just stick with what I have for the time being.Cheers.

@tauposeniornet: I had seen you’re using 2011. My post was a suggestion, meaning that what you’re looking for is possible only in Mystique.
