Remove login link

  When I initially created the website I was asked if I wanted the WordPress and Login links on the page. I said yes, but now I can see I don’t and would like to remove it, but I’m unable to do so. I checked widgets but since it wasn’t added as a widget (it was there from the start), that doesn’t work. Please advise. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

  I changed it to not show any side bars. The login link shows up on the right side frame, but not the left side, so I think there must be a way to delete it from the coding. This is all new to me. I just bought a beginner’s WordPress book to learn this. Thank you for responding!

  This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
