Remove Logo, Title and Tiled Gallery from other pages.
-
In Masu theme. I’ve place a logo, title and tiled gallery in the home page. I didn’t add it, however, it’s being displayed on other pages. Kindly help, I’m confused if this is an issue of the theme or I am unable to figure out how to work with the tools.
+ In my ‘About Blog’ page, I had places the things in column but I had to convert them into blocks since it wasn’t being displayed at all after saving. Is this an issue of the theme too?

Hi there,
Thanks for updating about the column issue!
For your logo, title and tiled gallery, it looks like they are placed in the “header” template part which is set to appear as part of the page layout – something which applies to all pages. It looks slightly different from how your home page is set up.
If you wish to remove the gallery only from your other pages and keep the logo and menu on other pages, I suggest:
- Go to Appearance > Editor (beta)
- When the Site Editor is open, click on your site icon in the top left, and select “template parts” from the panel which opens
- Click on “Header” to open it in the editor
- Remove the gallery (in black and white) from the Header template part, and save the change
This would prevent the gallery from showing on your other pages, and it will stay on the Home page only.
We have more information about how the Site Editor, templates, and template parts work here:

Hello.
I was able to remove the icon and tiled gallery from the pages. Now, I am unable to do the same for all my posts. (Basically, I want the icon and tiled gallery to appear only on the home page.) As per the above shared method, I can’t find any ‘template parts’ option but only ‘create template parts’ when I click on the icon. I want to remove:
- Icon and tiled gallery from all the posts
- Date, author name, tags and no. of comments from all posts.
Kindly help.
Thank you,
Corals

Please note we are limited in the number of customizations we can help with, but I’ll try to get you pointed in the right direction. :)
For the first one, you want to go into the site editor templates and find the “Single” template – that’s the template for individual posts or pages.
For the second, you’ll want to enable List View in the same template and keep expanding the non-header and footer sections to find the items you want to remove from the template. Here’s a screenshot that should help:

Once you select the specific item in that list that you want to remove, click the three-dot menu and there should be a “remove block” option – that will delete it from the template.
I hope that helps you get started!
