Remove Mapped Domain

  I am moving to a wordpress.org site and though I cancelled my mapped domain and deleted my site with wordpress.com my domain is still diverting to wordpress.com.
  How do I rectify this please. I have taken all the steps outlined in the manual and still no result. I currently have NO website up and need to resolve this.

  Hi there,

  That domain’s name servers and IP address are all pointing to Hostgator, and when I open that domain it loads a hostgator site for me, so the old link is most likely still stuck in your browser.

  Clearing your browser cache and cookies should make the correct site open for you.
