Remove mapped domain

  Dear WordPress support team,

  RE: lgitsmart.wordpress.com

  We need to remove domain mapping to lgitss.co.za.

  The only domain we wish to keep is the current primary domain lgitsmart.com

  Hi Sonja,

  We need to remove domain mapping to lgitss.co.za.

  I can remove domain mapping for lgitss.co.za. Once I’ve done so, the site will revert back to its free WordPress.com address, lgitsmart.wordpress.com.

  The only domain we wish to keep is the current primary domain lgitsmart.com

  This domain is connected to a separate site and is owned by another account.

  Please reply and confirm you are happy for me to remove domain mapping and I’ll sort that out for you.

  Yes, we would like remove the lgitss.co.za domain mapping.

  Why would the lgitsmart.com not be active as primary anymore? We are relying to the lgitsmart.com domain for our marketing campaigns. The other account you are referring to is also managed by me. I will login with that account and comment on this thread again if that is what you require.

  This is me logged in as the “other account” who owns lgitsmart.com.

  The request here is to:
  – Remove the lgitss.co.za domain mapping
  – Keep lgitsmart.com as the primary domain

  Objective: To have only one domain for our WordPress site (lgitsmart.com)

  Hi Sonja,

  Thanks for logging in to your other account. I’ve removed domain mapping for lgitss.co.za and lgitsmart.com is set as the primary domain.

  The two domains were connected to the same site (lgitsmart.wordpress.com) but the upgrades themselves were owned by different accounts. I told you the domains were attached to different sites but that was my mistake. Sorry about that.

  Your upgrades are currently owned by two separate accounts:

  • The Premium plan is owned by sonjalgitsmart
  • lgitsmart.com is owned by lgitsmart

  Would you like me to move the plan over to your lgitsmart account so both upgrades renew together from the same place?

  Can someone remove an old mapped domain from my account? all-agile.com was cancelled a couple years back but it still shows as mapped within my account. The DNS warnings are annoying. Help!
