Andreetheir,
I’m guessing you’re currently on a paid plan if you have a mapped domain. In this case you would have to follow the process of cancelation. Log in to your WordPress account and go to “Manage Purchases” or click https://wordpress.com/me/purchases, select the plan and when you get to the next page, you’ll see a small trashcan icon that will say “Remove” followed by the name of the plan you are on. (This appears toward the bottom of the screen.) There’s more help in the following support documents here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/faq-renewing-and-canceling/
A staff member would be better able to assist you, and I have tagged this thread.
Best wishes!

Thank you so much!
That fixed my issue.
One more question – In order to upload and install a custom theme for WordPress do I have to upgrade my account to premium or business?
Thanks again!

Hi kimgenevieve,
As @aniellocristo mentioned, domain mapping can be removed from your site on the Manage Purchases page:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
Your Business plan includes email and Live Chat support so if you need any help, just get in touch with us here and we’ll be happy to take a look:

In order to upload and install a custom theme for WordPress do I have to upgrade my account to premium or business?
Uploading custom themes is only supported on the Business plan. The Premium plan gives you unlimited premium themes but it isn’t possible to upload custom themes.
I hope this helps!
