Remove me from your billing and refund charge you made 2 days ago please

    On 5/6/2021 I was charged for WordPress. I’ve never used and do not want it. My credit card company has indicated that I should contact WordPress first, but I intend to dspute and stop payment whichever way a I need to go with this.

    The dougsingletary account you’re using to post here has never bought anything from us, and we don’t even have a credit card on file for you that we could have charged.

    If you’ve been charged, it’s for a purchase made using a different WordPress.com account.

    If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ – enter the transaction details on that form, and it will tell you if that charge exists on our end and what site it’s for.

    You can also use the Contact Support link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.

    I also advise you to not dispute the charge. Doing that will cause the funds to be frozen pending an investigation, and in that case it can take months before you’ll receive a refund. Your best option for a speedy resolution is to provide the information we need to our billing support team via that form, and work with them to sort this out.
