  I need to remove menu items after images and contents.
  My blog theme is Ovation.

  Hi there,

  I’m only seeing one menu that’s at the top. What menu items are you referring to?

  Hello!
  I’m sorry, it turned out badly.
  I was referring to the word “HOME” under the header image on the home page.

  Also, I ask you why the header image looks poor.
  I tried to put an image of size 1400px 500x – as has been suggested – in different dpi (the image you still see is 300 dpi), but something doesn’t work.

  Finally, I would like to remove the gray box also on the home page.
  I don’t want to put any logos or the title and now my palette is completely withe … so I don’t know how I can remove this gray box and get my totally white home page with only the header image and menu items.

  That’s the title of your set home page. Just edit the page “Home” and change that as desired. :)

  I ask you why the header image looks poor.

  The header image looks great to me under Firefox 68.0.2. What browser are you using?

  I would like to remove the gray box also on the home page.

  In Custom CSS https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-css/ add this:
