REMOVE meta from blog posts

  I would like to hide or remove meta under header of blog posts.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you referring to the meta information of the pages on your site? I am not sure why you would want to do that.

  Meta information control how your site is being read by search robots.

  I also noticed that your site http://www.pdyoko.com/ and the blog http://www.pdyoko.com/blog/ are not hosted with WordPress.com. They are likely a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site.

  You will have to login into your admin dashboard and go to the settings section of the SEO plugin that you are using, to configure the meta title and meta description for your pages. Are you using Jetpack plugin or a different one?

  Thank you, strikebuys, for the response. I just want to remove “author, date and category” shown under the post header on my blog page. I have tried WP plugins, and writing CSS code, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

  Yes, I am using Jetpack. And I’m also using Yoast SEO.

  Oh, you were referring to not displaying “author, date and category” on your blog posts. Got it.

  I had a look at two of your blog posts http://www.pdyoko.com/let-them-open-the-package/ and http://www.pdyoko.com/all-writers-are-not-equal/

  I don’t see author, date and category sections here. Have you successfully removed them or are you still looking for help?

  Hi, strikebuys, thank you for the prompt response. No they are still there on my side. I have emptied cache…just in case that’s the problem. But if you are not seeing them…..dang, why can’t I not see them? <sigh> ;)

  Yep, apparently I still need your help. ;) If you are willing to help. This is so strange. Never had this problem with other sites I’ve done.
