remove META from each web page

  Hi, I am using NISARG theme and want to remove the META widget from all my pages. It is not currently ‘selected’ in the sidebar on the widgets tab. I installed ‘custom meta widget’ plugin and that got rid of some of the subheadings under META but not META itself. Can anybody help? Thankyou!!
