Remove Metadata and Featured Images on Posts

  Hello,

  My site is http://www.sciencephantom.com. I’m trying to remove author, data, category and the featured images in posts. Please see this post in particular: http://sciencephantom.com/birds-of-the-same-feather-flock-to-the-magnetic-field/. (The information at the top before the hero image.)

  I’ve inserted code into my stylesheet to remove metadata, as well as downloaded the plugin WP Metadata and Author Remover, but nothing seems to work. My theme is ColorMag.

  I’m just building my site, so I’m still learning, but your help would be much appreciated.
