Remove "…more" link & show the entire post
-
Hello, I’d like to remove the “…more” link after my post to make the post could be shown entirely on the front page.
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
It might be possible with CSS customization. Do you have the premium plan, with Custom Design? The Gateway theme evidently truncates posts on the posts page.
You could avoid this issue by setting a static page to display as your homepage.

That won’t make any difference. The Demo Page has a static home page, and the blog page still shows only excerpts for posts.
As far as I know this type of behaviour is coded into themes and not something that can be overridden by CSS, which is why I advised the OP to ask the themes staff.

@ kokkieh,
Thanks! You’re right, the posts page will still display excerpts if a static page is used as the front page. I guess I was thinking in terms of avoiding the trouble on the front page only.

As kokkieh mentioned, Gateway displays excerpts on the blog page, and that’s not something that can be changed.
If you’d like full posts to display, you’ll need to find a theme that was designed that way – fortunately, there are lots to choose from!
Here are a couple of two-column themes that you might want to look at:
Franklin – https://franklindemo.wordpress.com/
Nucleare – https://nuclearedemo.wordpress.com/
Big Brother – https://bigbrotherdemo.wordpress.com/If you need further help choosing a theme, just let me know.
