Remove mouseover box for transparent PNG image

    In my most recent post I used a PNG image with a transparent background. The image is linked to an external site and when I mouse over it a box appears around the image in a lighter colour. Is there a way, using the image settings only (i.e. without custom design) to change the colour of that mouse-over box?
