Remove my blog from WORDPRESS.COM, keep it in WORDPRESS.ORG

  I created a blog with WORDPRESS.COM, but soon exported it to WORDPRESS.ORG. At the moment I host the blog in a 1and1 server.

  Now, I would like detach this blog from my WORDPRESS.COM account, but keep it in WORDPRESS.ORG. But don’t know how.

  Furthermore, I would like to delete my WORDPRESS.COM account, if possible.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. However, you should be able to delete your WordPress.com site following the instructions here:

  Delete a Website

  To detach your WordPress.org blog from your WordPress.com account, you will need to disable Jetpack. To do so, please navigate to the Dashboard of your WordPress.org blog. Click “Jetpack” then “Disconnect from WordPress.com” in the top right-hand corner of the screen. I’ve provided a screenshot here for reference:

  Please note, by disconnecting you will lose all of the features supported by the Jetpack plugin like site stats and image gallery features.
