remove my friend’s blog from my wp.com

    I helped set up my friends blog on wp.com and on a private host with a WP theme. now it lists her site as linked to my WP.com account and username. I want to remove it so she is the sole owner. It won’t allow her to set up her own jetpack. It’s setting up jetpack on her site with MY wp.com info. ugh.

    Hi @schmerika,

    have your friend the WordPress site hosted on WordPress.com?

    Then she/he can create a new account on WordPress.com and transfer the site to the new account.

    Which steps have you made to migrate/transfer the site from WordPress.com to self-hosted Wp?

    Can you please tell us the URL of the site in question? I don’t see any Jetpack-connected sites in the account you’re using to post here.
